What Saathi has been up to...

It’s been another exciting few months for Saathi! In the last few months we’ve been expanding our team, researching new markets, appearing at some great events and hosting visitors.

Saathi & Columbia

In May we were visited by a team of students from Columbia Business School (Rebecca Brown, Tessa Flippin and Erin Goldson), who helped us research and reach out to local environmentally-friendly retailers in and around Ahmedabad. A big thank you to the team and their excellent work!

New faces

Our biggest news in the last few months is that we’ve expanded our team and added some new members to the Saathi family. We’d like to welcome Business Development Lead Rupesh Rajawat (left, below) and Mechanical Engineering Tarun Bothra (right) to Saathi’s permanent team, as well as Sagar Patel, our new Engineering Intern. More on these guys in later posts.

Presenting Saathi

In June Saathi presented our concept at iCreate start-up fair and the CAMTech technology showcase. We presented our fibre technology, heard some inspiring speakers and met some other interesting startups in the Ahmedabad area, such as InterestShip (http://www.interestship.com/) a platform for prospective interns to connect with meaningful job opportunities.

Saathi were also recently featured in YourStory who did this great article on us and our mission to bring an eco-friendly direction to the low-cost sanitary pad space.
